Hunter is also the recipient of an Emmy Award for Outstanding Feature Story in a Regularly Scheduled Newscast for a Nightline project titled, Caught in the Crossfire, which followed ten Syrians inside war-torn Syria. In December 2019, Hunter was appointed as the foreign correspondent in London and since then she is working in this position to date.ĭuring her time at ABC News, she covered various issues which varied from countries across the Middle East and Europe and traveled overseas trips by Presidents Obama and Donald Trump. Subsequently working with ABC for nearly 8 years, Molly then joined NBC News as a News Correspondent covering New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago. While she was away, she also became a member of a non-profit organization known as Reclaim Childhood which empowers refugee girls and women through sports and games. From 2015, Molly worked as a reporter and producer in Jerusalem and then left for London in 2017 where she became a London-based reporter. After that, she joined the staff of ABC News and worked her way up from desk assistant to assignment editor to foreign desk Editor. She spent a year in Amman, Beirut, and Ramallah where she learned Arabic, interacted with Iraqi refugees, and also served as a freelance journalist. While Molly was attending Williams College, she was awarded a fellowship named Jeffery Owen Jones ’66 Journalism Fellow. She also completed Stanley Kaplan Program in American Foreign Policy. Then she attended Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts from where she graduated in 2009 with her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and International Relations. According to her LinkedIn profile, Molly went to Marin Academy, a private school in California. While attending college, she was also a part of Williams Varsity Volleyball. She hasn’t revealed anything regarding her family members or so, hence her family remains out of the limelight. Molly was born in 1972 and she is 50 years old as of now in 2023. Molly showcased immense bravery while reporting live by risking her life away from her home. She has worked for more than 12 years, built experience in this field, and still fulfilling her duties.
